Going on holiday can be such an exciting time. We plan it for what seems like far too long, think about where to go, what to wear, what to see, and who to go with. Whether you are going with your family or some friends, you want the whole trip to be as stress-free as possible.
Getting to and from LaGuardia Airport
Flying from LaGuardia can be a great option, not just because of the convenience with endless parking options that can be found on Parkon.com. You can also get to and from LaGuardia international airport by cab, although this can be a tricky option as cabs can be hard to find and can be a higher cost. There are also trains that you can get to and from the airport.
You can alternatively take the M60 bus from all terminals, or you can use the subway. Of course, the subway can be confusing especially if you aren’t a New Yorker who is used to the transportation system, so using a Lyft or an Uber could be the easiest, most efficient way of getting to and from the airport.
Food options aplenty
No matter how fussy you or the people you might be traveling with are, you are sure to have a great range of choices at LaGuardia airport. There are lots of restaurants, gastro pubs and fast-food choices available. So, no matter if you are looking for an Asian-themed meal or a hearty full English, there’s no shortage of options. With these choices, you might even find yourself hoping to see your flight time pushed back a bit.
Some of the most popular hot spots for food when awaiting your flight include; Figs café, where you can enjoy a taste of English food as Boston Chef designed the menu to focus around simpler meal options such as pasta, pizza, and burgers. This spot is a great option for kids as they have a great kids menu that features plenty of different options for your children if you are traveling with them.
Five Guys are another winning option with plenty of variety and completely customizable burger options. They also have some great fries, which stand out from the rest for the reason that they are cooked in peanut oil.
Cotto is the best place around the airport for a pizza, and we would definitely recommend you stop by for a slice!
Drinks
There is a great range of bar options, with amazing drinks and cocktails being prepared for customers at a moment’s notice. If you are more into your beers than your cocktails, there is the option to find a gastropub and enjoy the range of beers that they have on offer.
There is also free Wi-Fi on offer at the airport as well as pet relief areas, phone charging services, restrooms, drinking fountains, and more.
Next time you head to the airport, make sure you leave yourself plenty of time to fully explore and make the most of your time.
